An unlikely combination of players joined to sue the agency that runs the Washington D.C. Metro over ads that were rejected because they might “influence members of the public regarding an issue on which there are varying opinions.” The American Civil Liberties Union said this language was “mushy” and was joined by Milo Yiannopoulos’s company, Milo Worldwide L.L.C., Carafem, a network of health centers, and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals as plaintiffs in the lawsuit.
